#BlendedFamilyMatters First week of School #SeanB

Many of you that follow me on social media saw where I had to make a decision about Sean B's personal growth and development. He asked me one day when he was younger, "When will I be able to live with my dad?" and my reply was, "Whenever the time comes I will know". Sean has dealt with a lot in seeing me transition from a single parent into a blended family and from public school to private school. Sean has also dealt with a few issues that as a mother just loving him will not be enough to help him get through it. If I truly love him them I am able to understand that at this time in his life he needs his father.

So we made a good transition from Summers with Dad to a temporary school year with his dad and his family. I have to thank his father's wife Nancy for her patience and her understanding throughout this process. This decision was not decided in a day nor a week but because we communicate we all knew when this time would come. It doesn't mean I failed him at all or that I wasn't capable of meeting Sean's needs. It means that during Co-Parenting we are able to come together and decide on what our child needs and look past insecurities and fears in order to provide for him. With that being said take a look a few pics I didn't post on social media and let me know if you have any thoughts on #BlendedFamilyMatters and #CoParenting.

#BreakofDawn UPDATE!

Hello everyone!

Literally took a break from blogging during the summer. Now that most of my children are back in school (Christopher started Pre-K), I am beginning a new season and prepping for the last quarter of the year. Let me share a few things that have happened since I last blogged.

I cut my hair!

Yes it's gone! I started having migraines after getting perms around April. One day I literally just woke up and said, "It is my HAIR and it has to GO!" I went to my hair salon the next day and did the big chop. I shared this on social media after I shared this entire experience with my sons. Sean B was shocked and Christopher kept saying, "My hair is longer than yours mommy!" It was a moment and I've been so happy ever since.

Most of my children traveled throughout the summer while I remained home. Many of you know I started working at Pure Barre Decatur  and it has been an absolute joy to be a part of their team. I've shared my experience with the workouts and I was a client of Pure Barre Druid Hills for a year before joining a team. It has been a process but luckily I may be working towards another accomplishment in my #PureBarreLife but we will see. Until then let's #LiftTuckAndBurn to tighter abs and leaner thighs!

One of the most stressful things I had to deal with this summer is the deaths of many people around me. I am still losing people. Lost my grandmother (my father's mom) just recently that was just the tip of the bipolar episode iceberg. It's hurtful and I experienced a horrible MANIC episode almost a week ago that resulted in me not sleeping for 5 days straight. Haven't had that type of experience in the past 2 1/2 years and I got through it! Thank GOD I change my lifestyle to be more holistic and connect better with myself Mentally, Emotionally, Spiritually & Physically Tierra Goes Green

Fans Favorite Fan has endured many changes. I lost two team members who I was really close with but this taught me how to put business before personal matters. This is where I grew up as a business owner and respected my voice more. FFF has grown a lot since last football season and this year I am so excited about the work we will be doing this season Fans Favorite Fan

Thank you for taking the time to read this post! I wanted to make sure I highlighted some great moments that have been happening in my life for the past 3 months and shed light on the tough times. I am not sure if this blog will exist past this year due to my demanding schedule. I want to make sure that I am putting my energy into things I love & enjoy and blogging has been left behind lately. I will work on being more consistent and seeing where this goes & I hope you will stay with me along the way!
