Made in Atlanta

Everyone knows that I am from Mississippi and I will always be a "Pine Belt Gal"... After moving to Atlanta back in 2007, I had a hard time adapting to my surroundings. Folks went out EVERY NIGHT, Women dressed differenly (No Overalls here), and I had a hard time getting used to the Entertainment Industry. On top of all of that, I was a single mother in college trying to provide for my son & I. The sacrifices I made to be where I am now have helped shaped my life for success here in Atlanta.

Many people come to Atlanta and get lost in the lights. They create a darkness that they cannot walk through alone. I was able to work hard, stay in school, educate/clothe/feed/love my child, and still remain myself through all of my ups & downs. Just because you feel as if no one understands what you are going through that doesn't mean that God doesn't have a purpose for you. I was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi but I was MADE IN ATLANTA.

I am ready for the next phase... and it is coming!

  1. GO HEAD LIC!!
Like the old folks say, "Keep On Kepping On" LOL

  2. Great post! I often feel like I don't know what will become of my life...I feel so alone and tired some days. I know that the breakthrough is on the way.
